Also, they were both sort of raised into the gang, which I feel like would be a great thing for them to bond over, I feel that perhaps that could be the pivotal force for Ryota crushing on her, but of course he is respectful and probably won't say anything until way later. So, we definitely need to have a thread where they go out to get drinks or something and learn about each other, that way the friendship can blossom and eventually grow beyond just having loyalty because of the Yankan and then he gets to deal with crushing on a fierce and somewhat crazy woman

[attr="class","winkbody"] Oh definitely, I think it would pull some deep emotions out more than likely violent outburst but emotions nonetheless. He would definitely agree that she wouldn't understand- so there is that. But, they definitely need to have some kind of run in with each other. Maybe she could catch him tagging Yankan territory or something of that nature he is dumb enough to try?

[attr="class","winkbody"] Alright, so I think Ryota and Reiko actually work pretty well together as a team. I am now leaning towards them being actual friends? It would be fun for Ryo to actually care about a person as they are (seeing as his default is that it doesn't matter because everyone is gonna die someday anyways, it would bring a new shade of his personality out), she could also bring out that more spontaneous side in him (something that would be fairly exclusive to her). And my other horrible idea is that Ryota gets to experience his first crush on someone, and it's Reiko of all people which would confuse him so bad. Also would make for great drama if she falls for someone and tries to quit the gang.
[attr="class","winkbody"] So, given our current thread I definitely think Yumi and Ryota should be well-defined enemies. I also kind of like the idea of them playing cat and mouse, so maybe Yumi could eventually run into him again but this time actively dealing drugs? (either one of them could remember the other from the club). From then on I could see him constantly trying to avoid her and having a bunch of close calls with her actually arresting him?

[attr="class","winkbody"] I actually think they have a good bit in common- yeah she'd probably get on his nerves a little bit (as most people do) but they share a passion for the Yankan, it's their home and of course they'd be more than likely loyal and peaceful with each other because of that. I'll throw him in your open thread and let them get to know each other better.

FRIENDS
the reality of his life is that it's a dog eat dog world, everyone here is going to die someday, people don't change and if you want something done you have to do it yourself. ryota is more likely to have acquaintances than friends because of his extreme views on life and the world that surrounds him. it would be weird of him, by his standards, to waste his time with anyone who isn't in the yankan, though anything is possible and keibetsu is a crazy city...
ENEMIES
if you aren't with him, you're against him. if you are an enemy of the yankan, you are an enemy of his. it would be natural for almost anyone who is in the inago or affiliated with the inago to be an enemy of his, same for any one of those pigs that try to ruin the natural order of things. being a realist and a fatalist, ryota believes the yankan was destined to exist, and that he was destined to work for them and defend them as he was raised to do.
LOVERS
how can love exist in such a cold and dark place? ryota has never believed he was made for love, which he attributes to his opinions on life. if love were to exist for him, it would be a never ending battle of "is this what we were meant for?" "is this what i was meant for?"
Kallen, being the dimwitted jerk he is has an incredibly hard time making friends. He developed a fear of being used by people for money, a fear that turned him into a psycho. He lives to bother people, to get reactions and to start drama.
ENEMIES
Being in the Inago, anyone in the Yankan or Officials are his enemy automatically- at least as far as he's concerned. Since he lives to torment, it would be weird for him to not have people who hate him.
LOVERS
When Kallen was younger, his parents played a pivotal role in his negative view on what love is supposed to be. Not to mention, who could possibly love someone so mean?
